Safety

At Ackerman & Sons, safety has always been a priority. Right now, we’re taking an even more proactive approach to protect our community, customers, and employees.

COMMUNITY

In an effort to be a good community partner, we’re doing our best to stay informed on evolving local and national guidelines. Whether that means temporarily closing our workshop or finding creative ways to make protective masks–we’re working hard to do our part.

CUSTOMERS

Our customers mean the world to us and we are taking steps to keep you protected. We are currently open by appointment only to limit the number of customers visiting our workshop at any given time. In addition, we’re offering curbside drop-off and pick-up services and our team is wearing protective gloves and masks. Lastly, our entire workshop is being disinfected and clean on a regular schedule.

EMPLOYEES

At the heart of our workshop, our employees are our top priority. In order to protect them and their families, each of our work areas are at least six feet apart and employees are asked to wash hands frequently, practice social distancing in common areas, and stay home if they’re feeling ill. The doors in between our workrooms remain open to reduct chokepoints and increase airflow. Many of our employees already wear masks and gloves in order to perform their jobs, for those who don’t, masks and gloves are mandatory.
